Teasing the tour
SUPPORTING SOCIAL POSTS
Adopting the brand’s signature gradient mesh, brand colours and indu On Tour’s 3D van graphic, I illustrated and animated a heat map of the UK to tease
all the cities indu would be landing in.
The Brief:
indu was hosting its biggest pop-up event to date! The brand set out to spread the word about themselves by embarking on a tour of the UK in an indu van. Exclusive prices, free indu merch, VIP goodie bags, a meet and greet with your favourite influencers, and the chance to win an entire make-up collection was on offer.
For an event this huge, the hype on social had to step up.
The Approach:
A scroll-stopping 20 second video on social to capture our target Gen Z/teen audience, along with supplementary static social posts to provide more details on tour dates, social teaser posts to build further hype, and a printed flyer to spread the word IRL that indu is in town.

Revving up the hype on social

Using research into beauty and hype content trends on social media, best practices for paid media, and brand style guides, I designed, edited and animated the main paid ad and static posts. Dynamic pacing and movement of graphics and imagery were baked into the narrative to deliver excitement, while allowing viewers to absorb the key details of the event through a consistent, repeated text animation.
Imagery and candid footage of our brand community was incorporated in a collage, cut-out style animation to accomplish an inclusive and authentic feel around the brand experience.
